Can I run ts4 (The Sims 4) ?

I'm buying a new computer and I really don't know anything about system requirements and stuff... so I'm asking for a little help
Maybe I'll get a CPU with this characteristics, what do you think? Will be able to run the sims 4? I'm specially concerned about the graphic card.... please help me!

I'm not really that pc savvy, Lol. I myself am going off the cas demo, and I run it smoothly so I suggest the game will to for me. Also to say that the Sims Team, tried to make this game look really good and try to make it run smoothly for even an older computer, mostly people say, Wow, specs are 2001, but yeah, Lol. Yeah, yeah I've seen this, but I don't understand sth. If the CPU I'm trying to buy says "Intel HD Graphics 4600", but the system requirements doesn't say anything about that type of graphic card, does it mean I should get another CPU because the graphic card is not compatible with the game or whaat?? T-T

I just realized that the system requirements also include processor intel core i5 or faster...

So I looked at mine and I only have intel core i3 -- so basically the game won't run if it is a requirement ?

I'm sorry I'm not really sure, but if you have the time and money then try to get that cpu or an exact one like these specs or more higher, mostly it may deal with the made date of the pc like if it's 2014 so it should do well. But still I'm not to sure, try going to canIrunit.com like the other person said, I did and it actually took my pc specs and matched it with these and I had all green. But I believe you have nothing to worry about if you went to that website and see all green, and also if you were able to play Sims 4 cas demo smoothly. Plus don't forget Sims 4 has "laptop mode", so it will take the graphics down, but really there is NO difference in comparison. But still you can check these out as your options and other people opinions or facts before going out your way to get a new computer.

My video card compared to what is within Sim 4 specs:
Pixel Shader version3.04.0
Vertex Shader version3.04.0
Dedicated Video RAM128, (this is mine -->) MB256 MB
So I have all 4.0's and 256 mb in general, and that's for graphics, an this pc desktop was brought in 2009.
So you could compare my stuff to your's an may find if mine is over yours or under considering Cpu wise to see if you can actually run it. But I wish you good luck still if this doesn't help you out though .

Mine isn't and I run the Sims 4 demo greatly, but in a sense, I try to go by the Sims team members/gurus words, that even older pc's can play this, on somewhat medium to low to high settings and still get their visual goals met and smoothness too.

The minimum requirement is a Core 2 Duo. An i3 is much newer than that and should run fine.

That's an integrated graphics card. You're generally better off staying away from them, because they're not as well supported and can't be upgraded. An nVidia or ATI card would be best. The rest of those specs are great, though. A little low on RAM, but that's easy to add later if you need it.
