How I Almost Lost My Legacy Challenge

This. I cannot stop laughing/crying/jumping for joy. I'm just speechless.

So, I started a legacy with the official rules. I made a sim, Astrid Morne (gloomy, creative, and something I can't remember). She met this guy, Alessandro Park (evil (this plays a part), snob, and glutton), fell in love, and he moved in with her bringing in 20k. I created this nice house, got their relationship up pretty high (half green bar + maxed pink bar), had them be fairly flirty and in the mood, and had her propose. He flat out rejected her. Probably because he's evil!

She was MORTIFIED. Literatelly. Awkward encounter + rejected spelled her demise. I'm serious, him rejecting her KILLED HER. I took pictures for your enjoyment.

So I'm thinking to myself, while laughing from the hilarity and sadness of it all. I JUST started this legacy tonight! I finished their house and everything! I see old Grimmy show up, and I remember something. Sims can plead for another to become alive again. So that's what good ol' Alessandro did. After Grimmy made his way into the bedroom, Alessandro followed him in, smiling and happy as can be (the asshole) and promptly pleaded for Astrid's life. And guess what? It worked! Astrid is alive again and ready to start her career in writing and popping out babies.

She needs to watch her back. I won't be surprised if that guy tries to get her killed again. Too bad I can't change my spouse now that I had him move in. >.< I'm stuck with Astrid's almost murderer to be the father of her children. This is gonna be fun.

omg that is absolutely hilarious and terrifying at the same time. dang that evil dog lol. it'll be interesting to see how the rest of their relationship pans out lol. i'm thinking both bars need to be maxed for a successful proposal too?? who knows :T hope you post more updates later!

The funny thing is, I instead had HIM propose to her and she completely accepted! It's gotta be from his traits. xD

To be fair he almost killed himself! He was making some food and caught on fire. xD I think at this point any deaths that he's involved in are partly accidental.

Well at least it makes for a really interesting start to a legacy.

Do you think she nearly died because she has the gloomy trait? To me gloomy is just a friendlier word for depressed and scarily enough depressed people sometimes toe-the-line and need very little to tip them over. So your couple is actually a perfect storm of evil and depressed. Good luck.

I thought the developers said they wouldn't add death by depression because it was too realistic. I guess that adds to the list of lies they told xD. I wonder did anyone notice

It's possible! I hadn't thought of that... I think it said she died from embarrassment, but I can't really remember. Good thing is she's not as gloomy as you'd expect; she has her low days but is mostly happy.
