Part 6:Over the deep end
this story centers a bit more on Alicia trying to find Sirena. Maria and James are inside making something and Sandy and Jason are making crafts
So Alicia decided she would have to look for Sirena if she ever wanted to match the bracelet's design to Sirena's necklace
but Alicia had absolutely no idea where Sirena went after the scuba diving incident so she went back down stairs wearing the bracelet, and wondering what would be the best way to find Sirena.
There were a lot of islands in the Isle, she knew if she was going to reach all of
them before it got dark, she would have to use the underwater subskimmer or the skummer as she liked to call it. So she went around back and pulled the skummer out of its docking cradle and dropped it in the water, she then put her scuba gear back on and jumped in. The skummer
is a Diver Propulsion Vehicle combined with an inflatable boat with an outboard engine. It can inflate and deflate itself as it runs on top of or below the water. When it's underwater it runs on electric thrusters, but on the surface it becomes a fast moving boat. As she was skumming along, she got the feeling that someone was following her so she stopped long enough to look around, but saw absolutely nothing, so she kept on going until she finally came up on the first island she beached the skummer and stepped out, she removed her mask and started calling for Sirena. "Sirena are you here?" she did that a couple a times with no answer, so she put her mask back on pushed the skummer out and went back in the water.
As she was coming up to the next island, she saw a big cavern formed by the rocks at the base of the island. It wouldn't have been anything to see except she happened to notice something glittering at the bottom. So she swam down and thats when she saw it, stuck on a rock was Sirena's Necklace! Alicia gasped and looked down into the cavern. There was no sign of anything except darkness Alicia debated if she should swim in or not; she finally decided, there was no other option. She took Sirena's necklace off the rock stuck it in her bag and plunged down into the deep waters armed with a water proof flashlight, she grasped it in her palm hoping that her tank still had a plenty of air, since she was pretty far down already.
She grabbed her air meter attached to the tank and read the number, to her surprise it was really low. Alicia knew she had to get
back up to the surface or she would run out of air, so she started swimming back up as fast as she could but she ran out of air before she made it.
She knew she couldnt make it to the top but she kept decided she was not going to make it one way or another. She wasn't going to go down without a fight her air was on 1 and it started getting hard to breathe.
She decided to stop swimming to conserve her air and float to the surface, breathing as shallow as she could, but before she made it she lost consciousness. As Alicia was floating up to the surface..she felt someone grab her and carry her to the top. When Alicia woke up her scuba mask was off and she was lying on the beach of a deserted island way to foggy to see anything she got up and took her scuba gear off,as she struggled trying to remember exactly what happened she remembered Sirena's necklace she quickly checked her scuba bag but the necklace was gone...All that was in it were shells, coral, mud and sand *to be continued*
