Is there a way to save files downloaded....

Sorry if this is the wrong board, I wasn't sure where to post this...

I personally don't care for the way other's can edit sims created by other people they get from the gallery (I hate to spend so much time and work on sims for other's to change them and re-upload them as their own). Because of this I no longer post sims on the gallery (I save them to my library).

My question is, is there a way to save my created sims and downloads from "my library" in the game onto say my external hard drive (I'm currently saving up for a new computer and the computer I'm currently using is very.. unreliable, I hate to lose my work.

I've never got games from origin before so I'm not sure how it works, does it save all my items and downloads so I can get it on other computers or do I need to find a way to download them to my external hard drive?

That's actually a good question. I recently downloaded Origin on another comp to play my game there but didn't actually get into the game yet. What I did in case all my content isn't there though is put all my content on a flash drive to add to the other comp if need be. Sorry I don't have a real answer for you.
