My game won't start at all .-.

So I haven't played Sims 3 in a while since I went on vacation and all, and I can get the launcher to work and all, but when I try to actually play the game it stays at the black screen with my loading cursor orever. When I Ctrl-Alt-Delete and open Task Manager, it says that it's not responding. I recently removed some of the mods that I don't use to hopefully speed up my game but it won't actually load at all so um yeah. It's quite irritating, seeing as I'm in a Simming mood after watching lots of LPs .-.
Also today, I updated both Origin and Sims, if that might have anything to do with it.

Can anyone help me? ;-;

Uninstall all of your mods, I had the same problem, there is no way around it . Some sims 3 packs can cause this kind of problem, try to change sims 3 pack to package.

Ya do you have mods on your computer? That can be the issue i know when there is a new update and my mods are on there sometimes i have to probs solve. remove them all to see because it shouldn't do it with the bare game.

Since you updated your game you need to ether remove all your mods or update all of them, not just some.

If you have mods, uninstall them, if you have cc, uninstall that, if it still doesn't work, uninstall all stuff packs.
