How I got into The Sims

    Basically my older sister started playing TS2 and I was only born in 2002 so I couldn't really play it but when I was a little older I got TS2 Apartment Pets for DS then TS2 then TS3, I did eventually get The Sims Freeplay for my tablet (I don't have a phone).
    So I have played different versions of The Sims but not the actual game for PC/Mac.
    So that's my story, I hope it wasn't boring.

    wasn't boring at all :) glad you shared your story. Wow though, you were born in 2002? Now I feel old, I can actually remember the millenium in 2000, a few specific moments but still I remember. I think more people on the site should share their stories about how they got started on the Sims :)

    Hopefully you are able to play the Sims 4 on pc some time soon :) and if not, hope they bring out a version for tablets! :) thanks for sharing Rethka!

    I first got The Sims on Playstation 2 in 2002, it was meant to be a birthday present for my brother (he was turning 6)

    I could be here all night with my story & also i don't want to highjack your thread :oops:

    Yeah, I was born in 2002 (this is my mum's old account but that's another story), I'm entering high school in September.

    I just graduated few years ago! I must be the oldest than the rest of you guys. :p lol I'm huge fan since when it first came out. I remembered I used to play it all day, almost everyday just like The Sims 2. But I admit I don't play that much on Sims 3. I am *SO* Looking forward to Sims 4... it reminded of Sims 2 I loved so much but more polish ever... kinda mixed with Sims 3 but better. Sorry my English is really bad.

    Queen your English isn't bad at all, I know some Brits that are worse. Even if you do mis-spell a word or make any mistakes, it's still easy for us to understand what you're saying! So don't be afraid to post and talk, that's how you improve on learning a language :)

    I agree, a girl in my class called Isha (pronounced Eesh-a) came to England in Year 2 (2009-2010) and could only speak Danish (she's originally from Denmark) and now she has a level 5A in English: Reading and Writing.

    Interesting! I am deaf and speak half French, half English and full sign language in french as well as in English plus fingerspells. So That is not too bad, at least I can able to communicate with everyone plus here. :)
