I saw Sims 4 on Amazon for £30 a couple of months back. Really sad I didn't leap at the chance, since it is now back to £38. :(

Well it's still worth pre-ordering anyways. Amazons preorder guaruntee is that you get it for the lowest price available. So even if you preorder it now while it's at £38 and then it goes down to £30 again between now and launch, you'll still only have to pay £30 at launch :D even if it goes back up. As long as you had a preorder in at the price was lowered shortly, you'll get it for that lowest price.

While i'm sharing our links, i'll share the UK one too. XD here it is: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/...iveASIN=B00E4LGSTS&linkCode=as2&tag=buitna-21

yep it's pretty damn neat. Amazon are good with their preorders! I always have preorders for games in early just incase they go down in price then back up.

I've always agreed to get the sims 4. but i will admit that i am a bit scared. i just hope we don't get screwed in gameplay like we did with the sims 3. but i'm glad people are coming around to actually giving it a try :D. and if you don't like it amazon always refunds

lets just be clear, with amazon you don't get charged whatsoever for preorders. UNTIL the product physically ships from amazon. You can make preorders, cancel preorders, remake preorders, cancel them again and preorder again and it wont cost you a dime. All ofcourse before the release dates.

Also using our preorder links wont cost you anything, the price of the game is the same, all that happens is we get a bit of Amazons profit. So cancelling an existing preorder for the sims 4, and then clicking our link and preordering again won't cost you anything whatsoever but the 30 seconds out of your time it took to do that. And instead of Amazon the greedy conglomorate it is getting all of the profit, we get a small part of it.

Amazon preorders are the coolest way to preorder :) :D

Does the hardcover guide come with the premium edition for 79 dollars? Isn't that the whole point of the premium edition lol.

I'm kinda scared to pre-order it on Origin. My gut tells me its going to take more than a day to download because of all the activity with it.

Yeah I totally suggest getting a physical copy. Let's face it you already have to wait for it to install...SCREW waiting for it to download too lol

Great point! I have not pre-ordered yet but was planning on buying the digital download and not the hard copy. Hadn't even thought about heavy traffic and slow download times (which should have been obvious to me...duh!) so thank you for the reminder!

So who's buying limited edition and who's buying premium edition? I'm still trying to decide so taking all advice. Not sure if the premium is worth the extra money.

Well the reason why the premium edition is $19 extra dollars is because it comes with a hard cover guide....and some extra items. Other wise the limited and premium are basically the same. It just depends on if you feel the guide is worth the extra 19$ . Do you use guides? Are you a collector? Etc etc. I personally am an avid collector, I used to be really into the game 14 years ago became less interested when sims 3 came out so I just started buying them so I can say I have them all. It's what I'm passionate about. BUT I will say that the sims 4 has reawakened the fire. I am really legit excited to start playing it

also keep in mind the deluxe edition is only available on origin as a download. And the premium is only available as a physical copy. The origin one is cheaper and it doesn't come with the hardcover book. The premium version is the most expensive, 79$ , and it comes with everything the limited and deluxe do , including the soundtrack and the book. If you get the physical keep in mind, you can go to game stop put down a 5$ minimum payment and they will hold a copy for you. Ready for you to get on the release day or whenever you feel like picking up.
