Bakery and tending the register

Ah, I finally have my bakery going. Sort of. Goods are cooked, and I'm ready for business to really start.

I want to run the place myself, without an npc. I can't get my Sim to stay on the cash register though. I have free will turned off. Moods are in the green. I click on the register and choose 'tend register'. She'll only do it for about two hours, then go "No this is boring", and stop. Over and over. Is there a way to glue the Sim to the register? So to speak. Anybody know of a fix, or mod maybe? I have never tried to run a store in the Sims 3 until now.

Sadly, this doesn't hurt sales, since no one is buying anything anyway. I started it as a hangout, then switched it to a market. With the market, people actually showed up. However, the townies stand there, crossing and uncrossing their arms, while shaking their heads. "No, no, no, no, no". With a little red line through their chat bubbles. Perfect meals, but nothing are good enough for them. Most foods are from the bakery station, but many there are also regular (still perfect) meals.

Has anyone else with the new Indulgent Bakery gotten their's working? What am I doing wrong?

I tried googling to see if anyone else is having problems, but all I could find were ads to purchase the bakery.
Too new I guess.

No...... not to new. I started playing it late last night and i haven't had a chance to fully experience the baker. I hope that someone can help you so that I too will benefit from the response

I just bought a bunch of stuff from the sims 3 store for my game. The bakery looked like it would be a lot of fun. I might decide to get that next. I always loved Open For Business in the sims 2 game. I hope it's kind of the same thing.
