Blue Pink and White lines all over screen, HELP!!

I just purchased the Sims 4 today. Download went smooth. When I went to play the game there's blue pink and white lines all over the screen. Makes it hard to read any of the controls or anything. So it's basically not able to be played. Can somebody help me figure out how to fix this? I really don't want to return the game! I love the sims! Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

We had a similar topic related to this issue a few days back.
This was the solution:

Go to control panel, hardware and sound, choose device manager, choose display adapters drop down menu, right click the driver, then choose search for update. After your computer updates and restarts it will be fixed! Now my game is working and the annoying lines are gone!

Hi, I am having exactly the same problem, however my drivers are all up to date.
It's making it impossible to play

I know this nothing to do with this.But from what a site says (Can i run it) you type in the game you want to play on PC/Laptop and it says if you can run it if you can't it tells you what drives and cards are needed. So i put Sims 4 in to see if i can run it. It says know i downloaded the Sims 4 cas demo played it fine bought the full game downloaded from Origan installed plays great so to that site Can i run it

Meline, that method doesn't work for people who's drivers are up to date and still having this issue. Anyone figure anything thing out yet?

Make sure to grab the latest version of direct x (FIRST) and install it. Then get the latest driver for your video card from the manufacturer NOT windows update (the windows ones are very old) the ones from the manufacturer are current. If you do both, you SHOULD be ok. In the off chance it DOSEN'T fix your issue, it's because your video card is not supported at all.
