Freezing But Also Not Freezing?

When I play, the Sims actions will stop and they'll idly stand swaying back and forth for a long time with the sound sometimes stopping too. I can still go to the Options menu and move around the area normally. After a minute or two they'll finally start/resume doing their action.
Another issue I have is that when closing my game and going back to the household, the members and NPCs will all be in front of the house.
Both of these are very frequent. I have tried changing my Game Options to low resolutions and stuff, but it didn't seem to help.
Can anyone help me?

With the Household members outside the House i sometimes get that in my game but the actions freezing never had that happen to my game yet! But do this its safe i do this allot clean your E.A Cache in Sims 4 small list below To get too them Files open your Sims 4 folder located in E.A
The following files are most probably cache files that can be deleted safely and that will help with troubleshooting.

• localthumbcache.package
• cache –> *.cache (all files ending in cache)
• cachestr –> All content can be deleted
• lotcachedData –> All content can be deleted

Hm... It's still freezing up some but it's better. My frame rate has also increased.

I have this problem on Mac too! I find that after saving it stops for a while. Would love a proper solution though!

Sounds to me like Sims 4 don't run very well on Mac no afence to Mac users

This is exactly my problem! It's got me so stressed...it seems to me that the more content Maxis create, the worse the 'freezing' problem becomes...and they won't fix it
