game only starts if origin is offline

i don't know why this started happening, but all last week i played the game just fine. then saturday i tried opening the game and it kept freezing on the big plumbob loading screen. until it would not respond and would prompt me to close the non responding program. i did a quick google search and many other related things came up and people were told to go offline on origin and try it. it worked for me. and the game works fine with origin being offline but now i cannot access the gallery, being that the game is technically offline.
is there a fix for this? O-o

It's EA's stupid coding for the Origin launcher, not your PC.

I don't get the exact problem as you, but playing with Origin set to "Online" causes my initial loading time to be halved as well as some random 5-second lag every now and then in-game. Playing on "Offline" I don't get any any lag whatsoever.

Alternatively you can just run the game in offline mode and connect to the gallery once you've loaded in.
