    Well I've already been flooding the Sims 4 boards with posts and replies and didn't realize they had an "Introduction" section so here I am!

    I'm also HappyPhantom on the Sims 3 boards and have been playing since the release of Sims 2. I've been obsessively stalking all the information coming out about Sims 4, while somehow trying to maintain some restraint as I want some surprises when the game goes live. I haven't listened to any music, other than what's in the CAS Demo and I've skipped over the picture of all the "build/buy" objects along with all the skills and books. It's not easy but one thing I've always enjoyed about the Sims series are those little surprises that just make you laugh or go "aaaaw!" haha! I don't get too much into the politics of what's in the game and not and who dropped the ball etc... I simply review the information and make my own mind up.

    The way I play the Sims, I'm very excited about 4. I actually view 4 as a new game, not so much a continuation. I'm very optimistic about it's future and have always gotten attached to my sims in the sims series so the fact that they've made the sims more alive than ever really has pulled me in!     Hi! I am so happy there are other Simmers out there who feel the way I do! We vary in one way, i HAVE to see all the content and music before I play!! Im just a must-know-it-all weirdo! But i cannot wait for the excitement of a new game!

    I am also excited for the new spin on my fav game. I play the Sims 3 in a way that the Sims 4 seems will be much more enjoyable!! Welcome!

    There's been so much negativity on the other forums as of late, so much so alot of members have been moving over to here to escape it and be excited together about the launch of the game :D

    I think despite it missing some features, it'll be a much more stable game in the long run because of it! If they rushed in as much as they could before launch, it would be very buggy i'd imagine... especially since they don't do betas.

    The way I see it, The Sims 4 will be a solid, stable foundation for the future of the Sims and Sims content/eps etc...

    I've been playing the Sims since the original game... remember being over the moon as a young teen when I got The Sims Double Deluxe edition for Christmas! Played the Sims 2... then I stopped playing the Sims completely right after the Sims 2 came out, skipped even the Sims 3.

    But i'm back :) *joins group hug*

    Hello Happy Phantom and it is great to have you here! It's awesome that you went into full Sims 4 mode lol. Total immersion is how to do it! I was the same before The Sims 3 came out.

    I can't stop thinking about The Sims 4 either. It just sucks that by time it comes out, college would be starting again and I would be busyish. :(

    I am excited with what The Sims 4 has to offer to in its own way, since it is its own game of course, not The Sims 1 -3. I think we all will have lots of fun on it! :D

    Anyways, I'll join in on the group hug and I hope you stick to these forums and have fun!

    Welcome back! The sims 3 was not perfect when it came out, and neither was sims 2, but after all the content it came around. I think the Sims 4 will still have us addicted!

    When i first played the Sims 2 it had been a long time since I played 1. So I played for like a day straight, took tiny naps and kept playing. It got to the point where I was so tired I was "clicking" things in my real life bathroom in the middle of the night to get ready for bed. Talk about sleep deprivation! Dont worry, I recovered -- the crazy was not permanent LOL
