John Ware a famous cowboy in Canadian history. The other person besides Viola Desmond who got a stamp I believe two falls ago. He has a bunch of legends about him and one of them is the steer-wrestling competition that is popular in Calgary's Stampede

Nellie McClung:


One of Canada's "Famous Five" women who campaigned for the right for Canadian women to become 'persons' in one of the Canadain Acts back in 1920s. Because the senate wouldn't allow it they did a bit of a parody of the case with the government all being women and men being the 'homebodys'.

Nice work. Some of them might work better as elders, but of course, there's nothing you can do air that for 10 more days.

What are they from?
We need the cast of Murdoch Mysteries. Maybe that's how I should spend this afternoon.

Tom and Liz Austen mysteries series by Eric Wilison from the 1970s-1990s. They are kind of a book cross-over between Hardy boys/Nancy Drew series books (kidnapping) mixed with Agatha Christie's books (murder) -with a bit of Scooby Doo mixed in. But centered around Canadian places. For instance the first book called Murder on the Canadian (train) -Tom Austen is on his way to visit his grandparents who live in B.C. with his prankster friend, Dimetar, and they're traveling via the Canadian. Liz is I believed mention (been awhile seen I read them but I have the whole series in my house) in this book but doesn't actually show up till book 3 Case of the Golden Boy and then the next book Disneyland Hostage is centered around her. Two books which center around her have a Scooby-Doo vibe to it aka Vampires of Ottawa or St.Andrews' Werewolves. There are three other which are centered around her but don't have a Scooby-doo vibe to them The Green Gables Detectives and Escape from Big Muddy (kind of in a sense a Treasure-Island fan-fic of the author's) and Emily Carr Mystery. Escape from Big Muddy is flashback to Liz's first-ever case. Tom also has a flashback story he tells his male cousin in The Prairie Dog Conspiracy after Tom, Liz, their two cousins (I think they have a female cousin but I can't remember)-solve a mystery in the previous book The Ice Diamond Quest. The Ice Diamond Quest is one of the books where the two siblings work together to solve the mystery- Spirit in the Rainforest, Ghost of Lunenberg Manor, Treasure of Casa Loma, Code Red at the Supermall

Some of those sound familiar. Maybe I read them when I was a kid.

Tom and Liz's dad is a police inspector and their mom is a lawyer who had some kind of big case in The Inuk Mountain Adventure. The beginning of the chapters have black&white pictures which match whatever going to happen in that chapter-like book 3 chapter 2 shows Diane and Tom almost being run over by a car (Tom was at that point a kind of crossing guard but Diane was his only person he kept safe since everyone else used the other corner).

Last year (I think it was last year) I had a dream which had Murdoch and Crabtree in it and I kind of almost kissed Crabtree but didn't.

Not bad. There are worse things than kissing Crabtree. He such a nice guy.

Its like my house time-travelled through time except I didn't know that a couple of seconds before the dream ended.

the dream:
I woke up in my room and nothing at all looked out of place. I didn't learn till near the end of the dream that I and the house had time-travelled. Anyway, in the dream-bedroom-my HP books, posters, and the 1950s Peter Pan gift my sister gave me for a birthday long ago are still there. I then opened my light blue see-though curtains with white liens attached to them from the inside of the curtains, and I see a scene playing out on the ground outside my house.

The scene then changes to a what I would like to call "brown &black" scene (the colour of the film itself was brown, but the outfit were black like the ones you would see in the old black&white movies) and it gave a Mafia meeting. It turns out my dream-self had been watching someone "get it", and one of the Mafia members felt that they were being watch and saw me watching the scene. When they told the Godfather, he said to "kill me"

I assume a couple of days had past (even though I didn't know at the time) and it is in the morning. I'm in the bathroom, the bathroom door is closed..but not all the way, and I'm starting to take my meds I would take in the modern day. Suddenly Constable Grabtree and Dective Murdoch barge into the bathroom and I assume discover the would be killer in the shower/bathtub combo in the bathroom and take him away. That's when I discovered I had time travelled to two decades ago. I guess it didn't take a long time to "lock up" the guy, since Crabtree came back awhile and the two of us started to talk a bit, and there was a bit of romantic vibe going on...but the dreamed ended before anything good (ie a kiss happened)

I also had dreams that had to do with the cast of OUAT

Dreams with a bit of a plot are the best, aren't they? They can be quite inspiring.

Love these Disneygirl! You did a great job. I have a set of Disney princesses and the Hogwarts gang lined up to play, as well. Can't wait, its going to be so much fun. =)
