None responsive sims

So today I logged to play my couple on Sims and like every 10-15 mins I noticed when I especially speed things up my Sims act like they are in Limbo!....even the clock will keep running but I cant stop it not even when paused and they just sit there like duh....I didn't have this problem til today and don't know whats going on but it's starting to get on my nerves lol....for me to come out of it I have to save what I'm doing and than it will start up again like even the time on the clock goes back to its original self...weird...anyone else having some issue like this?.....I was fine til today I don't know what happen...and NO I don't have any mod stuff cause of my issues with it in Sims 3 its just the reg base game nothing added cept for the updates.....
