Sims 3 build problem

    Hi everyone

    I have a small problem with building and i don't know where else to turn with the official forums down. :( Hoping someone can help me out.

    I bought the Amore set and am trying to build a bridge on my home lot so my sim's home can be built over a set of canals, but I can't figure out how to get the arch decor to snap to my stairs. Does anyone know how to do this? There's an unsightly gap between the stairs and the arch piece. :(
