Sims 4 Disaster Expantion (released after seasons)

This ep actually could be released with seasons and have a on/off switch in the settings but im looking at it to do better on its own so who dont want disasters dont have to fuss with it.

The new items in game could be as follow:
~ Security lights (aka: flood lights) - lights that will turn on when a sim walks near your house.
~ Emergency lights - Lights that will turn on when the power goes out
~ Candles ( sim can carry or sit somewhere) - Cheaper version of a emergency light
~ Generator - The most expensive solution to a power outage.
~ Sand bags - Sims can use sand bags to keep flood water out of the house ( sims living on high ground wont have to worry)
~ Ladders (extention and step) Used to get sims on the roof to repair dammage

New Gameplay:
~ Desasters happen randomly just like weather does in seasons
~ During a strong storm you can hear the wind and the wind can Damage shingles and siding
~ Also during a storm the lights MIGHT flicker and could go out completely
~ The storm may spawn flooding in areas near the rivers ( dont forget the sand bags )

LET THE SIMS 4 LIVE ON

well Sims 3 had earthquakes if you had Ambitons and a sim in the fire-fighting professions. Of course metors could make one hell of a mess if it fell on your lot

I doubt disasters will happen in The Sims 4. SimGuruRachel went on about how The Sims is supposed to be an escape from reality, adding disasters is pretty much reenacting real-life situations people would be trying to get away from.

Ok Ill put my two cents in ...Due to the reality of disasters in the world ..I don't see this being implemented in an EP for sims 4. I think that would be too much for some people to deal with in a game and I do remember one of the Guru's saying something about them not doing it. I personally find weather nice like in Sims2....where you got a weather machine and could make your own weather...was alot of fun

I know that there are people who dont like the idea but i know of people who do want disasters thats why i think it should be in its own ep so people can choose weather or not to have it but i do understand why they wouldnt want to add it for the following reason:
- is there enough people who would want it to make a profit
but in my opinion i would buy it would you?

I would agree with Cynel on this...I wouldn't buy it only cause I seen weather disaster up close and personal...so Im not interested just saying

Tricky subject to deal with. Best left with the world of Sim City, not Sims 4. Sorry, but I'm really against the idea of introducing disasters into this type of game. Even in Sim City I went out of my way to avoid disasters, going as far as shutting off the disaster possibilities because I'm more interested in building, not destroying.

And that's my view on any version of The Sims too. The focus is to build, create and develop - not destroy.
